(Kingston, Jamaica)Female Dancehall deejay Macka Diamond will once again be making an appearance at the summers premiere events Reggae Sumfest. Macka who recently returned from visiting her young son in Canada spoke with worldflavas yesterday while at the offices of Solid Agency. "Yes I will be performing at Sumfest this year and as usual its more than a pleasure, I just got back in the island, I did some shows in New York and then spent Mother's Day with my son".
Macka who is now busy in the studios recording tracks for a possible new album also said its time to get busy again. "Right now I'm recording, I have a song called No Fake Friend with Ward 21, I have aother one which is a Carnival single its called Groovy Soca, that is for when I'm doing Barbados Crop Over. As for collabs I have a track working on with Maxi Priest and finally Christopher Birch has a new riddim I should be dropping something on".
Heading off to Grenada next week Macka is also slated to perform in Africa this June.
