(U.S)Ever wonder who produced Lil Wayne's super lyrical track "A Milli", well in this weeks In Studios With WorldFlavas turns the spotlight on the super beat smith Shondrae "Bangladesh" Crawford.
Born in Atlanta, Bangladesh is fast becoming rap music's next big thing. His unique drumlines and gritty synths have been raising some eye brows ever since he produced the Ludacris debut single "Whats Your Fantasy". Though his name and signature "Bangladesh" sound bite may be new to some, Shondrae has been crafting platinum hits for years.
While working as a barber, Mr. Bang used his spare time to sharpen his production skills and got his hard work finally paid off when an old classmate of his, Lil' Fate of Disturbing the Peace fame, introduced Shondrae to the then unsigned Ludacris and the rest as they say is history. Over the next few years he went on to produce for people like Ciara on her Goodies LP, Nivea, 112, Lloyd, Pete Pablo and even Keri Hilson

(Kingston, Jamaica)Austin Yolando Green was born in the community of Red Hills. Now as a Reggae and Dancehall Producer "Austin Kevin Green" has seen the best and worst sides of the genre. As a well respected studio engineer, he has been in the business of music production for over 9 years starting his illustrious career back in 1998 at Gargamel Music, home of the superstar Buju Banton, who is also his first cousin.
While at Gargamel Music, Kevin became acquainted with the techniques needed to become a fully professional engineer and after spending months learning and perfecting the craft, he got his first big break as an engineer mixing tracks for Buju Banton. Night after night, he did numbers of live sessions in the wee hours of the morning tweaking the sounds of Banton's Friends For Life album and at the same time experimenting with sounds and phrases for a possible riddim compilation.
As his network grew and the credits began to pile up Kevin made his move and ventured into the mainstream as an independent producer releasing his very first riddim called the F 150 during late 1990's and early 2000. Soon after that it was time to test the waters again and in 2001 he released his second riddim called Vacuum and the third called Hypnatic, a few months later with cuts from Sean Paul and Elephant Man and a host of other big named artists like Bounty Killer being featured on the tracks.

Stephen McGregor has been rightfully defined in the media as a musical genius, and indeed those terms are no exaggeration. Stephen who began making a name for himself at only 16 years old is now one of Jamaica's premier producers at present.
Son of Freddie McGregor, Stephen was exposed to music since he was born and almost lives in the Big Ship studio, the McGregor's home studio where he has built over 500 riddims over the years. Since his days at the Vaz Prep School, Stephen started writing his own material after school. He wrote his first song School Done Rule, a song about importance of staying in school, at the age of five and it enjoyed airplay, locally as well as abroad in 1995. Since Vaz prep write own material after school at the young age of 10, extremely talented he plays some five instruments including the piano, violin, drums, bass, guitar, which provides him with the basis for much of his work.
His in depth knowledge and deep understanding and feeling for music puts him way ahead of many others in the business, in addition he also has the experience of traveling and performing all over the globe with his family. He's performed in the USA, Canada, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean and knows the different tastes and preferences of music that people have in the world. Behind the scenes as a producer Stephen provides more than enough inspiration at his Big Ship Studio's and even has work with his brother Chino who is an upcoming dancehall recording artiste. Stephen has the steering wheel of the Big Ship in his grip and he works hard to ensure that the Ship is sailing with full blown sails into the future. Since taking over the rudder in 2005, when he produced the well known Cartoon Riddim-, Stephen is making more and more waves as a producer. He's dropped several riddims including the RedBull & Guiness, 12 Gauge, Stick Up, Breaking News, Ghetto Whiskey among many others. Apart from that he's worked with some of dancehall's biggest superstar including the Gully God Mavado, the Five Star General Bounty Killer, Aidonia, Busy Signal and even reggae prince Sean Paul. Since 2008 he's produced a number of exclusive street anthems including Mavado's Overcome and Sean Paul's Watch Dem Roll.
Stephen McGregor's enormous musical talent will indeed make him soar to higher heights and we will hear a lot of great music from him and the Big Ship Camp.
