Remember a while back WorldFlavas posted an article of the return of Heavy D (click on the name for article review). This time Heavy D went back to his roots to record a Reggae/Dancehall album. Here is the new video (peep Nia Long with the fro) from his new album "Vibes". So what do you think?

I am in a real WorldFlavas mood today, and that is why I am bringing some love from Africa. In the documentary posted on Reggae in Africa, someone mentioned the artist "Chameleone". I did a little research on him, from his myspace, to what Wikipedia had to say about him. (read below or click on text).

Joseph Mayanja (born 1979) is a hip hop and ragga musician from Uganda, known for his stage name Jose Chameleone or just as Chameleone or Chameleon. He started his career in the late 90's affiliated to Ogopa DJs record label from Kenya. One of his first songs was "Bageya", featuring Redsan, a Kenyan artist. He also collaborated with fellow Ugandan Bebe Cool, but later the two are known to have a tense rivalry.

"Break ya back (In a good way)" New Video from Avant, all I know is, that it's hot and sexy. I have always loved Avant, and felt that because he looks and somewhat sounds like R. Kelly he has been underrated. As a matter of fact, I read an article not long ago, in which he addresses the issue, and admits that R.Kelly blocked him from several deals and shows years ago. Avant has some of the sexiest slow songs like, "Making good love"(my fav), "Read your mind"(ok my other fav), "Separated", "Phone Sex" and so many more.

So far Cocoa Tea, Winston Francis, Determine, Screwdriver, Steel Pulse, Lushy Banton, Mavado and Commander Jesse all have paid tribute to Barack Obama. So it seems fit that the King of Dancehall pays his respect. I actually really like this song, it is on the Clean Sweep Riddim.

I can not wait to see this video, I love Robin Thicke, I don't know if most of you know that he is married to an African American woman, her name is Paula Patton and she is an actress. Can you tell that he loves black women? Check out the leading lady in his video!

Every time I look at a flashback video I can't help but to look at the fashion styles, what were we thinking? Love Super Cat the original "Don Dadda" right Sean Paul?

D'angel launched her new video in Jamaica at the Hilton Hotel in New Kingston. This song seems very personal to D'Angel, as many of the lyrics seem to come straight from her trials and tribulations over the last few years. I really like what she represents, she has always held herself with much class amid all the "bad talk and rumors".

She credits her son Marco Dean to have taught her to be more grounded, focused and more responsible.

I have been playing this song on WorldFlavas Radio for a while now, her name is Shontelle and she hails out of St-James, Barbados.She is on tour all over the United States, mmmm, I wonder if Rihanna knows about her!

The original Queen of DanceHall: Lady Saw with her new video Boyfriend. In my eyes she can do no wrong, even if by a small chance I'm not feeling a song that much, I still love her, but this is not the case in this new video. Love the tune, Love the video!

Deejay Garrison Hawk was recently chosen to be featured alongside 35 other artistes as part of Coca-Cola's worldwide Coke Rewards campaign and his song, Sweet Music, has been one of the top five most downloaded songs in the promotion.

Quite excited at the way things have turned out, the deejay says this success is in no way fleeting. This mini documentary about Dancehall Queen Carleen performance in Cuba is really good, brings back great memories and makes you see that Dancehall has no boundaries.

Dancehall's favorite singjay is mashing up the place with his steamy single, "Mus Come a Road." The song, which is causing havoc on the dancehall circuit, is produced by Reli of "Raging Bull" fame and penned by Mr. Vegas. "Mus Come a Road" has set the summer on fire.
